FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - FAQ
WELCOME TO EXTREME DANCE
STUDIO. WE ARE SO PLEASED TO THAT YOU'VE JOINED OUR DANCE FAMILY!
BELOW ARE SOME ANSWERS TO COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Q: Do you sell dance shoes?
A: Yes, we carry a complete line of dance shoes, dance wear and
accessories. Proper dance shoes are required, no street shoes
please.
Q: What should I wear to dance class?
A: Ballet - Leotard, tights and pink ballet shoe
Tap - Leotard, tights, shorts or skirt and black tap shoes
Jazz -Leotard, tights, shorts, skirt or jazz pants and tan jazz
shoes (ages 4-5 black ballet shoes)
Country Step - Same as Jazz
Lyrical - Leotard, tights, skirt or shorts and lyrical sandal
Modern - Same as Lyrical
Hip Hop & Break Dancing - Leotard or form fitting shirt and
comfortable pants with hip hop shoes.
Cheerleading -Leotard or form fitting top and shorts with all white
athletic shoes
No jeans or street shoes allowed. Hair should be pulled back away
from face.
Q: When is my payment due?
A: Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. Tuition received after
the 10th will incur a $10 late fee. After 2 months of non-payment,
the student will no longer be able to attend class until the entire
balance is paid.
Q: Some months have 5 classes while others have 3. Will my
tuition price change?
A: No. Tuition is averaged by the total number of classes per year
and divided into equal monthly payments.
Q: Can I watch my child during the lesson?
A: Yes, parents are invited the last week of the month to observe
the last 10 minutes of class. Children stay more focused when family
members are out of
view. Exceptions will be made for young students suffering from
separation anxiety.
Q: What about snow days? How will I know if the studio is closed?
A: Refer to the events calendar
on the web site by 1p.m.
Q: What holidays is Extreme closed for?
A: Extreme follows the Imlay City School district only for the below
holidays. Refer to our events calendar one month prior for exact
dates.

Q: Is there going to be a recital?
A: Yes. Our recital is held at Davison High School. We hold 2 shows
to accommodate all of our students family and friends. The
tentative dates for our 2009 recital is June 6 & 7.
Q: My daughter is 4 years old. Will she be in both
recitals?
A: No, ages 4-5 will do the first show only.
Q: When are costume payments due?
A: A $35 deposit per costume is due on October 4th. The balance is
due December 4th.
